In fashion the bag is the last thing a customer touches in store and the first thing they see at home. It is judged in about three seconds, against a purchase that cost fifty times more than the bag does. What it has to deliver: weight and print quality that match the price tag, a handle that survives the walk to the car, and a size that fits the actual garment.
The kit we build for apparel brands
| White card carrier bags | 210–300 gsm card with ribbon, cotton or die-cut handles, matte lamination and spot UV on the logo. |
| Soft-touch & foil bags | Soft-touch matte film, hot foil stamping and blind emboss — the finish most often read as luxury. |
| Die-cut handle bags | Single-piece card bags with die-cut or rope handles, for lower cost per piece at higher volume. |
| E-commerce mailer boxes | E or B-flute corrugated with tear strip, full-colour print inside and out, load-tested for parcel networks. |
| Garment cartons | 300–400 gsm folding board for folded apparel, with a clean interior and size or care labelling space. |
| Shoe & accessory boxes | Rigid or folding construction with foam or board inserts, magnetic or tuck closures. |
Where it is used
Boutique & flagship stores
Card bags with ribbon handles, matched to the current seasonal palette rather than last year's stock.
E-commerce & DTC brands
Printed mailer boxes with a tear strip, engineered to arrive square on a doorstep.
Multi-store chains
One specification across every store, mixed sizes in one shipment, reordered on a call-off schedule.
Pop-ups & seasonal campaigns
Short runs, fast sampling, delivery timed to a launch date rather than to a container schedule.
What decides the specification
- Paper weight against perceived value: 210 gsm reads mid-market, 300 gsm with soft-touch reads premium — the difference is a few cents.
- Handle construction sized to the load: ribbon for light apparel, cotton or reinforced card for shoes and denim.
- Colour fidelity — Pantone matching on coated stock, with a retained proof so season two matches season one.
- Print the inside of the bag too: the interior panel is free branding space most brands leave blank.
- Mailers tested for drop, compression and humidity, because parcel networks are harder on boxes than shops are.
- Sizes built around your garment range, not a catalogue — we quote the die line from your product dimensions.

Frequently asked questions
Can you match the bag to the box?
Yes. We print bags, cartons and boxes from the same artwork file, on the same substrate family, and check them side by side on the proof — that is the only way the set reads as one brand.
Which handle is strongest?
Cotton rope handles take the most load, then reinforced twisted paper, then ribbon. For shoes and heavy denim we usually recommend cotton or a reinforced card handle, with the bag board at 250 gsm or above.
Do you make mailer boxes that survive e-commerce?
Yes — E-flute mailers with tear strips are the standard, tested for drop and compression. We size the box to the garment so there is no dead space rattling around inside.
Can we order different sizes in one run?
Yes, mixed sizes are normal. Each size needs its own die and print plates, so the mixed order is quoted item by item.
