Gift packaging is bought for one moment: the two seconds before the lid comes off. Everything else — cost, freight, packing time — has to be arranged around that moment without ruining it. What decides the specification

Structure first: we draw the box around the product and confirm the dieline before anything is printed.
Surface treatments that read as value — hot foil, blind emboss, spot UV, soft-touch lamination.
Magnet strength and lid fit checked on the physical sample, because a lid that drifts cheapens the whole box.
Insert engineering in foam, pulp or board, so the product moves neither inside the box nor inside the container.
Seasonal timing: sampling before the holiday cut-off, production booked against your launch date.
Mixed sets consolidated — bags, boxes and bands shipped together on one booking, one set of documents.

Minimum order: 5,000 pcs per item for standard printed bags, cartons and boxes. Multi-colour photographic print, unusual sizes and hand-built rigid boxes carry higher minimums — we confirm the exact figure with your quotation, in one working day.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for rigid gift boxes?

Rigid boxes are built by hand around a board and a wrap, so their minimum is structure-dependent and generally higher than printed bags. Send the box size and the insert requirement and we will quote the real minimum — smaller trial runs are sometimes possible.

How long does a gift box project take?

Dieline and structure confirmation first, then a white sample, then a printed sample: roughly two to three weeks before production starts. Production runs 20–30 days. For a holiday launch, start three months out.

Can the bag and box be the same colour?

Yes, if both are printed from the same artwork on compatible substrates. Foil on a textured bag and foil on a laminated box reflect light differently, so we proof them together rather than separately.

Do you supply inserts?

Yes — EVA foam, moulded pulp and die-cut board. Send the product dimensions and weight and we will propose the insert that holds it without adding unnecessary freight volume.
